Our Rock Climbing Classes
BEGINNER
Intro to Outdoor Climbing
Learn the basics of outdoor rock climbing during this top-roping session. We'll cover the essentials like belaying, tying-in, and safety checks. Then we'll spend most of the time climbing real rock cliffs.
Prerequisites: None
BEGINNER
Rappelling
Learn how to descend a cliff with rappelling techniques. During your four hour in-person session, we'll cover how to setup and protect yourself during a rappel. This includes atleast three rappels on cliffs up to 100 feet high.

INTERMEDIATE
Top Rope Anchors
Once you've mastered the essential skills like belaying and tying in, you're ready to start setting up your own top rope. During this four hour vitual class, you'll learn how to construct anchors using both bolts and natural features. You'll also receive our Magnetic Practice Bolts to master these skills in a controlled environment. Additional In-Person and virtual training are available.
Prerequisites: Intro to Outdoor Climbing class or equivalent experience and at least 3 months of top roping experience.
INTERMEDIATE
Learn to Sport Climb
Are you ready to clip some bolts? If you're very comfortable with top rope rock climbing, you can join our Single Pitch Sport Climbing Class. You'll learn essential skills like efficient clipping, unique safety considerations, falling, and anchor cleaning.
Prerequisites: At least 3 months of climbing experience. Consistent 5.8 climbs on top-rope. (Indoor or Outdoor)
ADVANCED
Learn to Trad Climb
Do you feel comfortable with Sport Lead Climbing and want to learn trad? Join this class to learn proper gear placement, rock assessment, route finding, trad anchor building and more.
Prerequisites: Single Pitch Sport Climbing or similar competency and consistent 5.8 leads.
ADVANCED
Learn to Multipitch
Now that you've mastered the single pitch terrain, it's time to climb something higher. We'll cover route selection, transition efficiency, rappels, and more. Includes both online and in-person training. The class will be tailored for sport or trad climbing based on your experience.
Prerequisites: Minimum of 3 months lead climbing experience and at least 15 different climbs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience?
It depends on the class. The Intro to Outdoor Climbing and Rappelling classes don’t require any previous experience.
Check the Prerequisites for required ability before signing up for others.
What class is for me?
We recommend progressing in order or have similar competency before moving to the next level. Give us a call if you have further questions.

Do I need my own equipment?
If you have your own, please bring it. But we will supply everything you don’t have that is required.
What if I need to cancel?
Just send us an email or give us a call.
You can cancel all the way up until your scheduled climb time.
What if the weather is bad?
If we cancel before the class starts, you’ll receive a full refund or reschedule.
If we cancel during the first half of the class, you’ll receive a 50% refund or reschedule.
If we cancel during the last half of the class, no refund is provided.
What if I need to reschedule?
You can reschedule anytime at no additional charge up until the start time of your class.
