Do I need experience?

Is transportation provided?

You will need to organize your own transportation to the climbing location. For large groups, we can arrange bus transport at an additional cost.

What qualifications do your guides have?

All of our guides have been trained by the American Mountain Guide Association to professionally be conducting guiding/instruction. They are required to be experienced climbers before even entering the AMGA program. All of our guides are also medically trained for the outdoors as Certified Wilderness First Responder. All of our guides go through rigorous screening/training before employment.

Is rock climbing safe?

Rock climbing inherently has risk. However, our professional guides are trained and required to uphold the highest standards of safety. Besides the training to avoid and mitigate any safety issues, our guides are certified in advanced outdoor first aid.

Do I need my own equipment?

Denver Climbing Company will provide all required technical equipment for your course or adventure. If you do have your own gear, you are more than welcome to bring it.

Can I take pictures?

Yes, we always allow for personal pictures to be taken. We will never charge for your to preserve this amazing memory.

How do cancellations work?

You can cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before your trip for a 50% reimbursement. No refund will be awarded with in 48 hours of your scheduled trip except in the case of bad weather (reschedule or 100% refund). Trip insurance is advised if you think you will need to cancel last minute.

What is your bad weather policy?

Your guide will contact you with any weather concerns. In the case of bad weather, you are entitled to a reschedule or full refund. If less than 50% of course is complete when cancelled due to weather, same refund/reschedule rules apply. Upon 50% of course completion, you are entitled to reschedule but no refund.

How far in advanced should I book?

To ensure your space, bookings should be completed as soon as possible. Give us a call or check our online calendar for availability.

What if I have a medical concern?

Where do we climb?

We have several climbing locations around the Denver area. Most locations are around 30 minutes from the city center in Golden, Colorado or Boulder, Colorado.
